## About

The top of the X series, and Børresen's argument that six small drivers beat two big ones: the same 5-inch DCC5 used across the range, three of them above the RP89 ribbon and three below, wired so that two work as midrange and the remaining four handle bass alone. Nothing else changes from the X3 — same tweeter, same cones, same crossover, same wedge cabinet in braced wood composite — it is simply a taller box with more cone area, which buys 30 Hz and the headroom to fill a room the X3 would strain in. Eight reflex ports on the rear spine. 1.64 m tall and 79 kg each. Black or white piano lacquer.
