Lithuania's loudspeaker industry sits on top of a woodworking base that is unusually large for a country of under three million people — furniture alone is around 2.5% of national GDP and exported roughly €1.8 billion in 2020, most of it to Sweden, Germany and the Nordics. That means cabinet work, veneer and high-gloss lacquering are ordinary local industrial skills rather than specialist subcontracting, which is why the makers here tend to build their own enclosures and buy in their drive units. The result is a small scene defined by what it can machine rather than by any shared house sound.
