Brand
Canada· Founded in 2007
Canadian maker founded in 2007 by David Reid in Metro Vancouver, where it still designs. Kanto began as an OEM designing products for other companies and moved into its own powered speakers — every model is a two-box pair with the amplification, DSP and inputs in one cabinet and a passive partner wired to it. The range runs from the 16 cm UKI up to the TUK Grand, which swaps the silk dome for an Air Motion Transformer, and the thing that marks them out on a shelf is colour: matte greens, pinks and oranges alongside the usual black and walnut, in a category that otherwise assumes you want neither.
The catalog ranges from the UKI at 16.5 cm up to the TUK Grand Passive at 35.0 cm — compare any two side by side at true scale.
12 Models available in the curated catalog.
