PureAudioProject

Israel· Founded in 2013

An Israeli company founded in 2013 by Ze'ev Schlik, who launched it at Munich High End with a proposition the industry had mostly abandoned: no cabinet. Every PureAudioProject speaker is an open baffle — drivers bolted to a flat panel of oak, bamboo or HDF, radiating from both faces as a dipole — and every one is modular and shipped flat-packed for the owner to assemble. The 15-inch woofers are the brand's own, built with Eminence; the mid/high module is chosen at order from horns, Voxativ and AER widebanders or a coaxial, and the crossover is screw-terminal so its components can be swapped by hand. Run from Tel Aviv, with operations in Iowa and Frankfurt.

The catalog ranges from the Duet15 Prelude at 104.0 cm up to the Quintet15 at 205.0 cm — compare any two side by side at true scale.
