TrueScaleAudio

Privacy

Privacy policy.

The short version: TrueScale collects as little as possible, never sells your personal data, and runs no ad network or cross-site tracking.

Last updated: July 2026

What we collect

Almost nothing. You can browse the entire catalog without giving us any personal information. The only data you actively hand over is your email address — and only if you choose to subscribe to the newsletter. There's no account to create, and no advertising.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages and tools are useful — how many people got as far as comparing two speakers, what visitors searched for and didn't find, and roughly where in the world a visit came from. No cookies are set and nothing is stored on your device. Your IP address is used to look up an approximate location — a country and a city — and is then discarded rather than stored. Each event is counted on its own and none of them are assembled into a profile: we can see that forty people in Germany compared a particular pair of speakers, and we cannot see that you were one of them. Analytics are processed for us by Vercel and PostHog, the latter on servers in the United States.

The newsletter

If you subscribe, your email is stored by our email provider for the sole purpose of sending occasional updates when new brands or models are added. We never sell or share it, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your address at any time via the contact page.

The contact form

Messages you send through the contact page are delivered to us by email so we can reply, and kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

Outbound and affiliate links

Some "Where to buy" links take you to third-party retailers. Once you leave TrueScale, that retailer's own privacy policy and cookies apply — we have no control over them. Affiliate links may let a retailer or its network know the visit came from us so a commission can be credited; this never costs you anything extra. See the affiliate disclosure for more.

What we never do

We don't sell or rent your personal data, we don't run third-party ad networks, and we don't track you across other sites. We may publish or share aggregate statistics about how the catalog gets used — which speakers are compared with which, what people search for, broken down by country — including with the manufacturers whose speakers are listed here. Those are counts. There is nothing in them that identifies you and nothing to trace back to a person. If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page. Questions? Reach us via the contact page.
