A German horn specialist founded in 1991 by Holger Fromme and Matthias Ruff, handcrafting loudspeakers and amplifiers in Reichenbach, in the Odenwald. Avantgarde is defined by its large spherical-wave horns β molded, gleaming and often gold β which reach efficiencies above 100 dB for a vivid, effortless, low-distortion sound. Most models pair those passive horns with powerful active bass modules and DSP, from the compact Zero and Uno to the towering Trio flagship.
