A two-man workshop in Ronse, Belgium, where Loïc De Buck and Stijn Dauwe cast their own brass and machine their own oak. Bombard's first product, after three years of development, is the OB1: an active open-baffle speaker with the streamer, DSP and amplifiers inside the frame, so a pair needs power and a network and nothing else. The house materials are brass and oak because both age into something rather than out of fashion, and the design is explicitly circular — meant to be repaired, refinished and upgraded rather than replaced.
