Duet10

Product description
The smallest thing PureAudioProject makes, and the only one that does not ask for half the room. Founder Ze'ev Schlik built it after a 9 by 9 foot listening room left the Trio10 with nowhere to breathe: one 10-inch woofer instead of two, and a single uninterrupted panel rather than a stack of modules. The pay-off is the placement figure — 30 cm from the rear wall, where the rest of the range wants 60 to 120, which is the usual reason an open baffle never makes it past the living-room argument. Above the woofer goes a HeilAMT1 air-motion transformer or, for the people who came here for a widebander, a 5-inch Voxativ AF-A on an alnico magnet; either way the crossover is first-order series with Mundorf parts on gold screw terminals you can reach. 88 dB, 8 ohms, 39 to 42 Hz depending on the room. Baffles in walnut, oak, maple, ash or coloured Valchromat. PureAudioProject does not publish a weight.
