PureAudioProject calls it the wall of sound and the description is literal: four 15-inch woofers per side stacked on a modular aluminium frame, 2.05 m of open baffle with the mid/high module sitting at ear height in the middle. Eight of those woofers across a pair, all radiating from both faces, is a lot of moving area for a room that a Trio15 cannot fill. The module is picked at order — the PAP Horn1, a 10-inch coaxial or a Voxativ eight-inch widebander — and the coaxial gets a fourth-order crossover of its own where everything else runs the first-order Thrier board. An optional PAP-C1 analogue active crossover allows bi-amping. 96 dB into 8 ohms, and it wants a large room and a metre of air behind the panels.
