Denmark· Founded in 1979

A family-owned Danish maker founded in Copenhagen in 1979 by Ole Klifoth, whose son Mads now runs it; every cabinet is still designed and built at the company's own factory in Skovlunde. The house signature is an Air Motion Transformer tweeter in nearly every model, paired with Pure Piston cones and a set of named concepts — SEC for dispersion, NES for decoupling the drivers from the cabinet, Freedom Grounding to drain the drive units' feedback currents to mains earth. The range runs from the QR Special Edition line up through the R-series Signature, Avantgarde and Arreté tiers, with the wedge-shaped Trapeze Reimagined revisiting the company's first loudspeaker.

The catalog ranges from the QR 1 SE at 32.5 cm up to the R 10 at 156.0 cm — compare any two side by side at true scale.
