Poland's route into loudspeakers came through furniture. The country is Europe's largest furniture exporter, and the woodworking capacity, veneer supply and finishing expertise that supports it turned out to be exactly what a speaker cabinet needs — so Poland became the continent's workshop for enclosures, building boxes for brands across Europe and North America. Several Polish speaker companies started as cabinet suppliers and worked backwards into designing complete systems, some now winding their own drivers as well.
