The standmount that opens the A-series, Børresen's line between the X- and C-ranges: the RP94 ribbon over a single 5-inch DCC5s whose diaphragm is an aramid honeycomb core between two carbon-fibre skins, wound on a titanium voice-coil former. Real walnut or black ash satin veneer rather than the C-series' piano lacquer, and rear-vented — Børresen calls it a controlled venting system rather than a conventional reflex port, meant to manage internal air movement without padding the bass. 89 dB into >6 Ω, >50 W recommended. Supplied with a stand that takes the pair to 1123 mm and 27.5 kg. Sold as a pair.
