Cymatics 6

The first speaker Creek has put its own name on in decades, shown at the Bristol Hi-Fi Show in February 2026 and the first of three planned Cymatics models. Two ways: a 25 mm aluminium dome sunk into a machined aluminium waveguide, and a 171 mm custom fibre mid-bass, handing over at 2.6 kHz. The waveguide is the part doing the work — it loads the dome and narrows its dispersion to match what the larger cone is already doing at the crossover, which is the usual reason a metal tweeter sounds hard when it isn't. Rear-vented, in a heavily braced cabinet of 25 mm MDF that weighs 15 kg for a box only 41 cm tall. 88 dB into 4 ohms and 120 watts of headroom. Gloss black or an eco-sourced wood finish, with magnetic grilles. £2,800 a pair in the UK; Creek has not announced a US price.
