Product description
The big one in Dynaudio's classic BM range and the only nearfield here with a 10-inch woofer, which at 240 mm is really a midfield driver in a nearfield box. Discrete MOSFET amplifiers rather than class D, 200 watts on the woofer and 100 on an Esotec soft dome with 1000 W of dynamic headroom, split by an analogue phase-aligned crossover at 1.8 kHz. The voice coil is the famous part: 100 mm of aluminium alloy on a driver Dynaudio has been building variations of for decades. Front-ported, radiused baffle edges, 18.6 kg, made in Denmark. The 124 dB maximum SPL is quoted for a pair at one metre, not a single cabinet. $1,579 each.
