Product description
The small Core, and the one that shows how far Dynaudio pushed the platform: 280 watts on each of a 5-inch woofer and a 28 mm dome, in a box 35 cm tall. The tweeter is the Cerotar Pro with Hexis, the perforated inner dome that sits behind the diaphragm to smooth its resonances. Everything runs through a DSP with an AES3 digital input alongside the XLR, and the crossover at 3.8 kHz is done in software. The maximum SPL figures — 104 dB anechoic, 110 half-space — are per speaker at a metre, unlike the LYD and BM ranges which quote a pair. Front-ported, 46 Hz, 8.6 kg. $1,699 each.
