Dynaudio Acoustics' largest main monitor: a 145 kg soffit four-way with four 300 mm MSP woofers in a 2×2 grid, two 170 mm low-mids, a 56 mm dome for the upper midrange and an Esotar 3 on top. It is passive in the sense that matters here — there is no amplifier in the cabinet, and Dynaudio asks for four channels of 500 to 1000 watts each, from its own DA or DCA amplifiers. 130 dB stereo at two metres, 35 Hz, crossed at 250 Hz, 2 kHz and 5 kHz. Front-ported through four vents at the corners of the baffle, in black textured paint or optional solid oak, cherry, walnut or maple; custom cabinet sizes are made on request, which is what a monitor built into a wall usually needs.
