The XB cabinet with the diamond tweeter — that is the whole difference from the XB Mk II beside it, and it costs around $17,000. Accuton's 25 mm inverted diamond dome replaces the ceramic one and takes the top end from 25 kHz to a claimed 60 kHz, of which Estelon calls 33 kHz linear; that linear figure is what is recorded here. Below it the speaker is identical: a 158 mm ceramic mid-woofer, a 220 mm ceramic-sandwich woofer, a rear port, crossover points at 85 Hz and 2.1 kHz, and 69 kg of marble composite in a shape 1.26 m tall. 6 ohms dropping to 2.9 at 56 Hz. $79,700 a pair.
