Genelec · SAM · Studio monitor
1236A
Product description
The largest monitor Genelec makes: two 18-inch woofers reaching 17.5 Hz at −6 dB, flat to ±2 dB from 21 Hz, out of a 182 kg cabinet 1.18 m tall. Same 3050 W and ≥130 dB as the 1235A, spent on an octave of extra bottom end rather than more level — at this size the point is reproducing what a dubbing stage or a scoring room actually contains, not playing louder. SAM with GLM AutoCal. Sold individually. Made in Iisalmi, Finland.
