KLH's flagship, shown at AXPONA in 2023: a 13-inch pulp-paper woofer on a 46 cm baffle, which is most of the width of the cabinet and the reason the thing looks the way it does. The woofer gets its own sealed 2.5 cubic foot chamber so the 5-inch midrange never feels its back pressure, and the handovers are low — 300 Hz and 3.5 kHz — through a third-order network of nineteen elements on air-core and iron-core inductors. Sealed throughout, as with everything KLH builds, and the low end is quoted at 38 Hz within ±3 dB and 26 Hz at −10 dB. The 4-ohm load and the 250 W rating make this the one in the range that wants a real amplifier, though 91 dB in-room (88 dB free-field) keeps it from being difficult.
