Coltrane Supreme Extreme

Shown at Munich in 2025 and launched in Hong Kong that August, this is two cabinets per channel rather than one. A 30 cm-wide main tower carries the 25 mm diamond tweeter, a 76 mm diamond high midrange, a 178 mm beryllium midrange and four 203 mm Crystalid mid-bass drivers from 120 Hz up; beside it a 70 cm-wide bass tower takes everything below, with five 254 mm aluminium-sandwich drivers and ten 254 mm passive radiators. Both towers are carbon-fibre monocoques with an aluminium and solid-wood sandwich, both stand 182.2 cm, and together they come to 410 kg per side — the dimensions here are the two placed side by side as the press images show them, which is not the only way they can be set up. Every crossover is first order, at 120, 370, 1000 and 4000 Hz. The two towers take their power separately: 600 W for the main, 1000 W for the bass, so there is no single power rating. Marten quotes over 800 hours of hand assembly per system.
