Parker Trio

Two 190 mm ceramic cones under the 25 mm ceramic dome, two 229 mm aluminium passive radiators on the back, and no port anywhere — the Parker Duo's idea run 2.5-way in a 1.17 m tower. The second cone rolls off early to reinforce the bass rather than double the midrange, which takes the bottom to 26 Hz and lifts sensitivity to 91 dB, three decibels above the Duo, so this is the Parker that will run on modest power despite the 3.1-ohm minimum. The cabinet is 35 mm M-board tapering from 22 to 28 cm across, standing on a mirror-polished stainless base whose Marten Isolators spread to about 40 cm — most of the apparent width in a photograph is that base, not the box. Crossover at 2.2 kHz, multi-diverse order, polypropylene capacitors and copper-foil inductors; the ceramic tweeter can be swapped for diamond at order. Response is quoted to 40 kHz within ±2 dB.
