MartinLogan's statement hybrid electrostatic — a huge curved XStat panel paired with a 381 mm aluminium woofer and a 305 mm carbon-fibre driver in a rear-ported cabinet nearly two metres tall. Its impedance falls to well under an ohm at the top of the range, so it demands a genuinely current-capable amplifier and a large dedicated room.
