Product description
The middle tower of the Monitor SE line: the same 140 mm cone used four times over, one as a dedicated midrange and three as woofers, under the series' 25 mm X-PAL dome. Running a real three-way at this price is the unusual part — most towers here make the bass drivers cover the voice range too — and it is why the handover to the tweeter can sit at 3 kHz with the midrange carrying everything from 800 Hz up. Rear-ported, 105 cm tall, 20 kg, 90 dB anechoic. Paradigm's own page prints the width as 7 inches; the drawing, the dealers and the photograph all say 9, which is what is recorded here.
