Product description
Paradigm's budget flagship, added to the Monitor SE line in February 2021 and the only one in the range with 8-inch woofers. Three of them, under a 165 mm midrange and the 25 mm X-PAL aluminium dome that runs through the whole series behind its perforated phase-aligning lens — a punched plate over the dome that blocks the out-of-phase arrivals from the edge of the diaphragm. Second-order crossovers at 800 Hz and 3 kHz, rear-ported, 116.5 cm tall and 32 kg. 92 dB anechoic and a load Paradigm describes as compatible with 8 ohms, so 15 watts is enough to start and 150 is the ceiling. Matte black or gloss white.
