Reidar Persson's 45th-anniversary speaker, named — the reviewers assume — after the tenor Jussi Björling. A three-way pyramid that tapers in both plan and elevation: Respons quotes a single width of 22 cm, but photographs show the baffle roughly doubling in width between the top and the floor, so it is drawn here as the trapezoid it is, sized to its footprint rather than to that one figure. The opening on the back is not a bass port but the vent for the midrange chamber; the bass reflex fires forward, below the 8-inch woofer. The cabinet is MDF and gypsum bonded with a viscoelastic layer — gypsum for its very fast energy absorption, the viscoelastic to absorb rather than spring back — standing on three aluminium-oxide feet with two adjustable side supports, with the crossover mounted on three damped aluminium plates. Respons publishes no frequency response for it, and neither do its reviewers. Oak or walnut, veneered in mirrored pairs. Sold as a pair.
