The BBC's larger monitor, and the one that actually goes low: a 210 mm polypropylene cone Rogers makes itself, an Audax 34 mm dome with a phase-correction plate, and a front port, in a 9 mm birch-ply cabinet 46 cm tall. The crossover is the unusual part — 27 precision elements at 18 dB per octave around 3 kHz, where the LS3/5A gets by with a handful. At 87 dB into 8 ohms it is 4.5 dB more efficient and a far easier load than its small sibling, and it handles 100 watts unclipped for around 106 dBA in a real room. Rogers publishes no frequency response for it, so none is recorded here. The drawn width follows the product photograph, which spans about 305 mm against the 275 mm on the spec sheet.
