Product description
The smallest HS, and the first of the line sold only as a working stereo pair: the left cabinet carries the amplifier, the volume knob on its front and every input, and drives the passive right one over speaker cable. A 3.5-inch cone and 0.75-inch dome cross at 3.2 kHz for 70 Hz–22 kHz (85 Hz–20 kHz at −3 dB) and 100 dB peak, out of a cabinet 223 mm tall. Yamaha's Twisted Flare Port shapes the rear vent to cut turbulence noise. Combo XLR/TRS, RCA and stereo mini in, headphones out, plus the room control and high trim switches the series has always had. Listed dimensions are the left cabinet; the right is 12 mm shallower and 0.7 kg lighter. Also sold in white.
