Where the Reference line changes shape: the single 185 mm midrange gives way to two 150 mm drivers flanking the tweeter, so the midband radiates from a vertically symmetrical array rather than from one cone above another. It also pushes the crossover up to 1.85 kHz. Three aluminium layers in the cabinet, 63 cm deep and 145 kg — the same 20 Hz as the Hailey 3, reached with more control.
