Spain's loudspeaker industry is better known for what goes inside other people's boxes than for the boxes themselves. Beyma has been winding compression drivers and cone units in Valencia since 1969, supplying touring PA and studio builders across Europe, and the country's cabinetmaking clusters — the furniture belt around Valencia and Murcia — hold the veneering and finishing skills a high-end enclosure needs. Spanish domestic hi-fi tends to come out of that combination rather than out of a research lab: small workshops, exotic wood, joinery treated as part of the acoustic design.
